SO-SAFE Recovers Stolen Motorcycle, Arrests Two Suspects in Ogun

The Ogun State-owned Security Outfit, Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (SO-SAFE Corps) has recovered a stolen Bajaj Motorcycle and equally arrested the  suspects at Ita-Egbe in Ipokia Local Government Area.
A statement from the office of the Corps Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the Director of Information and Public Relations, ACC Moruf Yusuf, disclosed that Idiroko Divisional Officers led by CSC Abdulkareem Abdulrazaq while on routine patrol on January 4, 2023 at about 06:45hrs apprehended a 32 years old, Adeyanju Daniel, residing at Baba Uwuku House, Oko Cashew, Ihunbo in Ipokia Local Government Area of the state and a 26 years old, Emmadu Matthew, a resident of Izini-Iponle, Isakete in Republic of Benin, while they were battling with a motorbike, suspected to have been stolen.
The two suspects, the statement revealed that they were questioned and asked to provide the motorbike particulars, but instead they trying to escaped. This gave an insight that the motorbike didn’t belongs to them.
The security team later discovered during interrogation that the Red colour Bajaj motorcycle marked with TRE 742 UX with engine number DUZWKB32152 and CHASIS number MD2A18AY4KWB59568 was belonged to Mr Wasiu Akanni who came to his hometown for New Year Festival on December 31, 2022.
The statement further revealed that the motorcycle was stolen where he parked it beside his family house in Ita-Egbe.
The two suspects having confessed to committing the crime together with the exhibit had been transfered to the Nigeria Police, Idiroko Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
