ROAD SAFETY: OGSG Vows Continuous Support To FRSC

Ogun State Government has pledged its continuous support for Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in ensuring safety across the State’s roads.

The state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun disclosed this through his Deputy, Engr (Mrs) Noimot Salako-Oyedele when FRSC Ogun State Sector Commander, CC Akinwunmi Fasakin paid her a courtesy visit in office.

He stated that with three of the busiest highways in the country traversing our state, the FRSC has its work cut out providing driver education, enforcement and rescue services.

CC Fasakin, in his response, commended Ogun State Government under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun for the remarkable developmental strides in the State.

Chairman, Ogun State Road Safety Advisory Council (SARSAC), saddled with the responsibility of minimising accidents on the roads also reiterated the state’s commitment to the multi-agency implementation of the National Road Safety Strategy (NARSS) within the state.
