FRSC Boss Seeks Collaboration Of State Governors On Productive Partnership

Owing to the need to further broaden the scope of productive partnership, the Corps Marshal of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Shehu Mohammed has paid official visit to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Ogun counterpart, Prince Dapo Abiodun in their government offices.
The FRSC boss seeking wider collaboration and engagement of the state governors and other relevant stakeholders in both private and public sectors on the task of keeping Nigerian roads save which is a collective responsibility that involves every citizen.
He applauded the governors for their commitment to safety of lives and properties in the states. He also thanked them for always supporting the Corps to achieve its corporate mandate.
Mohammed said: Issues bothering on motor vehicle administration were at the frontline of our discussions. We all reached a compromise to commence fruitful collaborations that will eliminate faking of vehicle number plates which normally leads to loss of revenue and distorted data collection.
“With this positive development, commendable mileage will surely be achieved in the area of intelligence gathering and enhancement of national security,” He added.
The Corps Marshal Mohammed appreciated the two governors for all their support for the Corps and for effectively empowering LASTMA, TRACE and other road safety management to compliment the fight against road menace.
