CHILDRENS DAY: TRACE Organises Safety Tips For School Pupils In Agbara

As part of effort of towards catching  them young and ensuring their safety while making use of the road, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) on Tuesday May 28, 2024 organised safety tips for school pupils within Agbara area.
Representing the Agency’s Chief Executive Officer, Cdr Abdulfatai Olaseni Ogunyemi at the enlightenment held at Edu Agbara Secondary School, Agbara Divisional Commander, Cdr Adekanmbi Onasoga, said the programme was aimed at inculcating into the pupils  the rudiments of road usage at their tender age.
“TRACE being passionate about safety of the children while on the road was aimed at re-awakening and raising the pupils safety consciousness on the road. It was to intimate them with tips on safety both in a vehicle and as pedestrians on the road.”
Cdr Onasoga taught the students the need to be attentive and to be at their best behaviour while on the road. “Safety begins with me and ends with me”.
He went further to enlighten the students on the need to be safety conscious to achieve their dreams of being successful in life.
The goal was achieved as the students promised to even educate their parents on the dangers of driving against traffic,the importance of having seatbelts fastened while driving and other tips to ensure their safety on the road.
He advised the pupils to always abide by the rules and regulations guiding the road usage, shun any criminal act and live a crime free life.
The Principal in person of Rev Olunowo, appreciated TRACE team for coming around to impart these valuable knowledge on the students.
The participating schools were: Harmony Schools, Ketu Adie-owe; Amiz Model School, Ijuri; Devta Nursery and Primary School, Ijuri;  Christ Solid Rock School, Iperin; Peace Of God Nur and Primary School, Ijuri; Skyfield Nursery and Primary School, OPIC Estate, Agbara; Model Academy, Igbesa; Divine Choice Nursery and Primary School, Iperin;  Crystal Schools, Iperin; Igbesa High School, Igbesa; Rock Of Ages Nursery and Primary School, Idanyin and Agbara Community High School, Edu.
