FRSC Mosimi Unit Command Organises Inter-School Quiz/Debate Competition in Commemoration Of 2024 Children’s Day
1 min readMosimi Unit Command as part of its home grown initiative on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, organised its maiden edition of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Inter-School Quiz and Debate Competition among schools within the Command’s jurisdiction.
The event which held at the PTD Hall NNPC at Mosimi was to commemorate the year 2024 Children’s Day celebration for schools around the Command.
The Unit Commander ACC Nurat Awe, in her opening remarks said FRSC established the programme to inculcate the principles of road safety in the younger generation, stated that Road safety is a shared responsibility which every citizen, nether adult or children must embrace.
She emphasised that the significance of the event extends beyond the competition, but an opportunity to “catch them young” and to lay the foundation of road safety ethics.
“The future of road safety lies in the hands of our children and educating them today, means we are paving way for a safer tomorrow,” ACC Awe, added.
Awards and other gifts were given to the first position, first runner-up and Second runner-up schools respectively.
