Ojora pledges continuous protection, support to residents 

Ojora of Ijora and Iganmu Kingdom, Oba Abdulfatai Aremu Aromire has reiterated the determination of protecting lives, properties and supporting the residents of his kingdom both morally and financially.

The Kabiyesi who spoke at a Ramadan lecture organized by him and council of chiefs with the theme: “After Ramadan what next?” at his palace said he will continue to support government in promoting culture, customs, knowledge and fighting crimes within his domain.

“I will continue to support government in ensuring that peace prevail in my domain. I will not tolerate breach of law that could cause fear of operating legitimate business activities and whoever caught threatening security of other residents who definitely handed over to appropriate security agency for prosecution.”

Kabiyesi Ojora has over the years using the Ramadan lecture to sponsored Islamic programmes, special education, support for the weak, poor and the less privileged in the society and networking with other Islamic organizations among others.

He urged the Muslim faithful to used the message of Ramadan to change the present condition in the country for better. “Let me call on Brothers and Sisters in Islam to continue to pray for the success of the present administration as it is trying to tackle the problems of insurgency, corruption, kidnapping and economic sabotage in the country”.

“We should pray for the peace, progress and development of our dear state and the country at large. May Allah SWT bring to an end the senseless killings and kidnappings now rampant in this country,” Kabiyesi Ojora, added.

In attendance were many traditional rulers, religious leaders, political stalwarts, captain of all industries across the country. The programme featured palliative gifts, scholarship up to university level to pupils of first to third position of Quarantine recitation.
