Cleric Congratulates Sanwo-Olu, Calls For Fulfillment Of Campaign Promises

The Assembly Pastor of Stand on His Promised Evangelical Mission (SOHPEM), Revd Caleb Babatope, has congratulated Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other elected political gladiators in the just concluded elections.
He advised Sanwo-Olu and other elected lawmakers to ensure all their campaign promises were made to ease the tension and suffering in the land.
The renowned clergyman commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the security agencies for ensuring a smooth and peaceful electioneering process.
He enjoined the Lagosians especially the electorates to accept the outcome of the elections. He also urged them to remain calm, eschew violence and other criminal activities that could breach the peace in the society. “Killing, destroying or damaging properties shouldn’t be the best practices during and after elections.
“We should all have a choice of building this nation together with love for one another. As responsible citizens, it is my prayer that we will choose love and be our brothers’ keepers, regardless of ethnicity, religion, creed or socio-economic status,” Rev Babatope, added.
He pleaded with Nigerians to refrain from utterances and speculations that could be fuelling the fire among political parties and their supporters.
