Encomium As DCM Peter Kibo bows out Of FRSC Service
1 min readBy OLALEKAN AYENI – The former Lagos and Ogun Zonal Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) ACM Peter Kibo has finally retired from acting service after serving the Corps for 35 years meritoriously.
He was officially handed over his office on Monday, February 6, 2023, and proceeded on terminal leave amidst of encomium, prayers and motivational songs.
ACM Kibo was among the lucky senior officers that benefitted from the Corps 2022/2023 promotion exercise. He was promoted to the rank of Deputy Corps Marshal (DCM) and was decorated with his new rank on Wednesday, February 8, 2022.
Before his retirement, DCM Kibo has had a fruitful career working across several formations, among was his last position as the RS2 Commander.
While appreciating the Federal Road Safety Commission and its higher authorities for enabling environment provided for him to thrive, urging the serving personnel to remain focus, efficient and dedicated to their duties to enable the Corps achieve its goal on yearly basis.
He admonished the personnel to always abstain from all forms of indiscipline that could soak the name of the corps in the mud.
