EMBER MONTHS:  FRSC Traffic Advisory On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has warmed motorists against route violation popularly known as ‘one way drive’ on Lagos-Ibadan expressway as the highway will be more busy as a result of religious activities on the corridor.
The leading agency on traffic management disclosed that it has been certain that the highway will be highly busy following the religious activities for the end of the year 2022.
In a statement by the Corps’ Corridor Commander 1, DCC Kehinde Ganiyu Hamzat on behalf of RS 2 Commanding Officer, ACM Peter Kibo fdc, said the activities scheduled to begin from Christ Embassy Church – between Monday 14th and Saturday 19th November, 2022 at the Crusade Ground of the Church, Asese.
This activity, ACM Kibo said will definitely characterized by increase in human and vehicular traffic along the corridor.
He advised that on no account must any vehicle drive against flow of traffic, vehicles coming from Ikorodu are advised to use the Simawa RCCG access into the Crusade Ground and vehicles coming from the East/South-South should use Ijebu-Ode to Asese through Sagamu and Mowe.
“FRSC is wishing everyone a safe trip to the venue and back home. Motoring public are advised to remember no excuse for violation of traffic rules and to drive to stay alive. Merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance,” ACM Kibo, added.
