TRACE Calls For Compliance Of Traffic Rules Over Fallen Truck At Igbala On Lagos-Abeokuta Highway
1 min readThe Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) has appealed to motorists plying Lagos-abeokuta expressway to comply with traffic management at Matrix area, very close to Igbala bus stop to ensure free flow of traffic.
As of the time of writing this report the lone traffic crash, though without any casualty has been causing traffic gridlock within the jurisdiction.
The Corps made the plea, through the Ogun West Commander, Adekunle Ariyo Ajibade, as a result of full loaded truck that fell, and obstructing 55 percent of the highway.
The TRACE operatives led by Commander Salami Oluseyi who claims overloading led to the falling of most of trucks plying the route.
According to the TRACE team leader who said his team had been on the road overnight to ensure a free flow of traffic along the busy Abeokuta expressway.
All hands had been on deck while waiting for contents owners to arrive, for quick evacuation of the contents to avoid malicious damage while towing. When all drivers and road users comply with traffic rules and regulations,crashes would be drastically reduced,he said.
