Shell Nigeria Gas Plc Donates Operational, Rescue Equipment To Ogun FRSC

The Shell Nigeria Gas Plc has donated operational and rescue equipment to Ogun State Sector Command’s of Federal Road Safety Corps as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), in pursuit of Year 2022 Strategic Goals of the Corps’ which includes reduction in road traffic crash fatality by 15% and the enhancement of road safety partnership for innovative intervention.
The team, which led by its Technical Director, Mr. Joe Ezekwugo, attested to the detailed improvement in traffic management by FRSC along highways in Ogun State.
Ezekwugo further stated that the donation of equipment was towards the attainment of FRSC’s vision of eradicating Road Traffic crashes in the country especially in Ogun State.
The equipment donated includes:
a. A rollable stretcher.
b. First Aid boxes.
c. Rims of Cordoning tape.
d. Reflective Jackets.
e. Rain Coats
f. Traffic Cones.
g. Auto Hand Sanitizer Dispenser.
h.  3 units of 3kg Fire Extinguishers.
i. Cotton Hand gloves
Receiving the equipment, the Sector Commander, CC Ahmed Umar expressed the deep gratitude of the Command for the equipment donated and solicited for the donation of radar guns to the Command, saying excessive speed has been the dominant causative factor of RTCs in Ogun State, especially along Lagos Ibadan Expressway.
The same set of equipment, it was gathered also donated to Ota Unit Command’s of FRSC by the company.
