House of Reps Aspirant Expresses Satisfaction With Gov Abiodun’s Performance

The top of House of Representatives aspirant to represent Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency, Engr. Alade Jimoh, has commended Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, for a satisfactory job performance, saying the governor deserved to be praised for his contributions to the development of the state.
The community leader and a great political grassroot mobiliser lavished the praises on the governor over the infrastructural projects he has undertaken across the state.
Engr. Alade Jimoh, who is popularly called ‘Alade Omojimoh’ also expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their support to Governor Abiodun’s administration, adding that he will continue to lift high the face of the state if re-elected for another four-year term.

”His Excellency Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has performed satisfactorily and we should all commend him for his contributions to the growth and development of Ogun State.
”I want to once again thank all the people of Ogun State for their support for his administration and All Progressives Congress (APC) party.
Profile of Rtn. ENGR. ALADE JIMOH (M.SC, MNSE)
Engr. Alade Jimoh, a community leader, a Rotarian and a Pensioner was born in Ijomu compound in Ado Odo, Ogun State on the 6th August 1964 to the Royal Families of late Prince Alhaji Jimoh Okedeyi of Olumero Royal family of Agbara while his mother late Princess Atinuke Jimoh (Nee Bamgbose) hailed from the Bajomo Royal family of Ijomu Ado Odo Ogun State.
Alade Omojimoh as he is popularly called came in contact with formal education when he was enrolled for his elementary education at Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary School Ado Odo between 1969 and 1975. Engr. Jimoh Alade proceeded to St. Stephens’s secondary school for his Secondary education where he obtained the General Certificate of Education in 1981.
As a fall out of the death of his dad and financial constraints, in February 1983, Alade registered as a technical trainee at the Nigerian Ports Authority Technical Training School, Apapa Lagos as a trainee to study Electrical Installation maintenance under the supervision of National Board for Technical Education and the City and Guilds of London.
While in NPA training school between 1983 and December 1986 he succeeded academically passing array of courses and Examinations conducted by the City and Guilds of London in Electrical Engineering. Alade Omojimoh passed with Distinctions, the process that led him to acquiring the Full Technological Certificate of the City and Guilds of London in December 1986 which qualified him an equivalent of HND and the mandatory NYSC in March 1987
After his NYSC, he joined Electrical Engineering Department of Nigerian Ports Authority in Tin Can Island Port as a Higher Technical officer in April 1988. He was converted to Senior Electrical Engineer in July 1994 having satisfied all Engineering requirement to become a MEMBER of the NIGERIA SOCIETY OF ENGINEERS(NSE) and in 1998 he became chartered Engineer by the COUNCIL FOR THE REGULATION OF ENGINEERING IN NIGERIA(COREN).
By 1999, Engr. Alade Jimoh was admitted to the Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye at the Centre for Technology Policies (CETEP)and there he received his M.Sc in Technology and industrialization.
In his distinguished carrier calling, he didn’t only rise from grass to grace as a junior officer but also got to the peak of his carrier unblemished.

Engr. Alade Jimoh is a Philanthropist par excellence. He is a member of the prestigious Rotary International. He is the President Elect of the Rotary Club of Ota and in 2022, He will serve as the President of the Rotary Club of Ota having served in many capacities as a Director of the Club and also as committee chairman on various club committees. He is a Paul Harris Fellow.
Engr. Alade Jimoh is also a member of the Ado-Odo Development Foundation and many other philanthropic organizations.
This multi awards recipient is a passionate youth ambassador who believes in the grooming of the younger generation. In his spare time, Engr. Jimoh Alade enjoys tutoring student on the subject of Mathematics.
Engr. Jimoh Alade is a devout Muslim and the current Baba Adinni of Ado Odo. He is married to the elegant Alhaja Funmi Jimoh, his childhood sweetheart and the marriage has been blessed with wonderful children.
He retired from active service of Nigerian Ports Authority as Principal Manager (Electrical) at the Marina Head Quarters in February 2018.
