Ongoing Sakiland Festival Features Motivational Talk By Ayaba Faslat Olaronke Olabisi

The year 2022 Beere Festival of Sakiland in Oyo State, have been witnessing guests across the country.
The popular festival began on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 as the Okere of Saki land, Oba Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi Ilugbemidepo Oyedepo III, unveiled activities for the festival.
Part of the activities marking the yearly festival includes conferment of traditional tittle to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde as Aare Atayese, his wife, Tamunominini as Yeye Aare Atayese and other worthy personalities.
Other activities were prayers by traditional worshippers, other religious and homege by the Alagbos (Okere kingmakers).
Yesterday, Monday 14, 2022, which was the 7th day of the festival’s activities featured motivational talk, titled: “Better students Greater Nation by Ayaba Faslat Olaronke Olabisi, Ayaba Okere of Sakiland.
The festival’s ground finale is billed for tomorrow, Wednesday, March 16, 2022 and will attract people of all walks of life to the unique cultural landscape of Sakiland.
Beere festival is known to be a common grass that grows only on the plain lands used mainly for thatching houses. The grass it was gathered considered as the most opulent of all materials used for covering houses.
