Ogun SO-SAFE Apprehends Fulani Notorious Kidnapper Terrorizing Ogun Communities

By OLALEKAN AYENI – The Ogun State Government owned grassroots security Outfit, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (SO-SAFE) has arrested a notorious kidnap syndicate, Ibrahim Bature, who has been creating security unrest in Oke-Ogun axis in the state.
His arrest was following the directive of the Corps Commander, Soji Ganzallo, that all black spots across the state must be secured to ensure all residents were eye closed during the Christmas, new year celebration and beyond.
Due to this, according to the Corps Director of Information and Public Relations Officer, ACC Moruf Yusuf and Directorate of operations of the Corps, that men of Olorunda Post in Oke-Ogun Division swung into actions to secure the identified black spots across the state and also revisit the records of the suspected kidnappers within the jurisdiction to effect their arrests”.
The action was yielded positive as Bature arrested on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 06:05hrs along Olorunda-Imala road on his attempt to escape through Olorunda Town after he might have heard his name mentioned by his counterparts who have been in custody of the Nigeria Police Anti Kidnapping Department, State Headquarter, Eleweran, Ogun State.
The suspect and the items found on him, INFORMATION CARRIER gathered were clothes and naira cash have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Anti Kidnapping Department, State Headquarter, Eleweran, Ogun State Command by the Corps and Seriki Fulani of Olorunda Town same day at 08:32hrs for further investigation and likely prosecution.
