She died at the age of 52 years.
She has been buried according to Islamic rites at Ebony Vaults, 3 James George Street, off Alagbon Close Ikoyi, Lagos.
The late Hon Adetoun dead has been generating controversies ever since her death was announced as some Islamic Clerics debunked death announcement by saying she had woke up.
This online platform had formerly gathered from a reliable source and reported that Hon Adetoun died at the early hours of today, Wednesday January 5, 2022.
But the publisher received a call and video around 2pm which was formerly scheduled to bury her that she has rose on her foot. Sympathisers were seeing in the video jubilating with series of songs. Around 4pm, the publisher received another call including video that Hon Adetoun has finally passed on and was about to be buried.
The Southwest National Deputy Director, All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth and Student Council, Amb. Seyi Bamigbade, commiserate with the entire family of the deceased, saying her death is a great loss to Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.
He described late Hon Adetoun as a great philanthropist, grassroot political motivator who had be one of the pillars of Lagos State Politics.
She was one time state party, Lagos Central Woman Leader and APC Youth and student Council National Women Leader.
