YULETIDE: Double Your Action, Abstain From Indiscipline, FRSC RS2 Commander urges Personnel
1 min readThe Lagos and Ogun Zonal Commanding Officer of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) ACM Peter Kibo has urged the Zone’s personnel to double their actions to ensure free flow of traffic during the Yuletide Season and beyond.
He disclosed this during the Zone’s operatives meeting, tagged: “Operation Zero Strategic Plan”.
According to him, the meeting was aimed to plan ahead of the last minute’s festive season rushing hours, knowingfully well the series of traffic challenges of ember months. “Traffic management is very dynamic we have to come together, plan and see how we can have a hitch-free Christmas and New Year Celebration. The Zone has deployed its personnel, tools including ambulances to all the critical corridors for 24 hours special patrols to ensure this action plan is materialized. We will ensure our towing trucks are always available to remove obstructions should any breakdown of vehicles.”
ACM Kibo said all Zone’s personnel are expected to be more proactive, dedicated to duties and abstain from all form of compromise, indiscipline that could tarnish the image of the Corps during the season and beyond.
He stressed the need for Motorists to be patient, drive cautiously, obey traffic rules, maintain minimum speed limits, most especially at the construction areas and as well COVID 19 protocols.
He enjoined motorists to promptly give information on road crashes for necessary attention. FRSC personnel are on the road 24 hours to ensure everybody enjoyed quality of road experience, ACM Kibo added.
