Shun thuggery, drugs abuse, other social vices, Oba Ojora appeals to youths

The Ojora of Ijoraland in Lagos State, Oba Abdulfatai Oyeyinka Aromire has called on youths to shun thuggery, drugs abuse and other social vices in the society.
The monarch said all youths are expected to engage in activities that would better their lives in future.
Oba Aromire, disclosed this at the 2021 grand finale of Ojoraland talent hunt organised by Royal Circle Connet of Oba Ojora Official Media aide ,Tairu Olaitan in his palace. He said the talent hunt has come to stay which in no doubt will engage the youths and position them for better future.
 
The Monarch thanked Sifax Group of companies, other corporate organistions and individuals for their great involvement and financial support in making the event a memorable one.
 
Residents of no fewer than seven local governments and local council development areas under Ojora Kingdom participated in the competition aimed to discover potential talents amongst the youths.
 
The competition commenced on November 1 and ended on November 26. Surulere Local Government emerged the overall winner.
The event involved profesional boxers, table tennis players, upcoming musicians, not leaving behind spelling bee and debate by the primary schools.
The following are the winners from various Local Governments:
Coker Aguda came first, Apapa second, while Apapa Iganmu came third in football category.
Suruere Local Government came first in debate category, Apapa second and, followed by Coker Aguda.
Music talent haunts: Apapa Iganmu first, Surulere second, while Surulere Legislatives came third.
Table tennis: Apapa Iganmu first,
Apapa second and Suruere third.
